As MCA Co-President, Liza oversees the internal operations of the club.

Liza is currently an MBA Candidate at NYU Stern School of Business specializing in Strategy, Finance and Global Business. Previously Liza was a Lead Economist at the Bureau of Labor Statistics for four years and a Small Enterprise Development Volunteer for the Peace Corps in Togo with a focus on NGO sustainability, women's empowerment, and HIV/AIDS education for two years. Liza grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from Tufts University, and enjoys swimming, traveling and SCUBA diving in her free time.

Marc Weiner

As MCA Co-President, Marc oversees the external operations of the club.

Marc grew up outside of Philadelphia. After graduating with a BA from the University of Michigan in 2012, he worked in media sales and brand strategy prior to coming to Stern. Marc is currently pursuing an MBA at Stern with specializations in Strategy, Finance and Marketing. In his personal time, Marc enjoys exploring New York City and cheering on his Michigan Wolverines.

As VP of Bootcamp, Michelle, along with Mike, will lead the Casing Bootcamp providing detailed case interview instruction along with general recruiting insight.

Michelle graduated in 2011 from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario with a bachelor of business administration majoring in accounting. Prior to Stern, she was leading audit teams at PwC in Toronto, Canada for four years. In her spare time, Michelle enjoys long walks in the city, traveling with Sternies around the world, and hanging out in Washington Square Park.

As VP of External Relations, Jwalit coordinates with alumni to plan a variety of programs including special trainings and Alumni Super Case days.

Jwalit graduated in 2010 from Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi with a bachelor in Engineering Physics. Prior to Stern, he was leading strategic initiatives at ALSTOM in Switzerland for 5 years. Jwalit is currently specializing in Finance and Strategy. In his spare time, he likes to travel and try new food.

As VP Communications, Mei Mei works with both internal and external parties to update students on the latest opportunities and activities through online platforms.

Prior to Stern, Mei Mei was working in the Singapore government, helping startups gain access to mentors, venture capital financing and overseas markets. Despite having graduated with a Finance degree, she has yet to take on any Finance-related roles in her career. Mei Mei is currently specializing in Strategy and Entrepreneurship. In her spare time, she loves to go cafe hopping and travelling.

Alexandra Altholz

As VP of International Recruiting, Alexandra will connect Stern students with international recruiting opportunities, firms, and alumni. Also VP of London Trek for European Business Society, Alexandra will align MCA with Stern’s international affinity groups to strengthen Stern’s global community.

Alexandra graduated in 2011 from Washington University in St. Louis with a BA in Psychology. Prior to Stern, she worked in advertising and brand strategy in New York before launching her own venture, a job application consulting business. At Stern, Alexandra is specializing in Strategy, Global Business, and Leadership & Change Management.

Amy Geehan

As VP of Development, Amy will be working alongside Axel to manage the MCA Mentoring Program, the Industry Series, and other programs aimed at assisting MBA1 students to improve their casing skills and knowledge.

Prior to Stern, Amy spent four years in Boston at Liberty Mutual Insurance, most recently as a senior business analyst on the FP&A team. Amy is currently specializing in Strategy, Leadership and Change Management, and Product Management and is planning on entering the consulting field post-graduation.

Ava was born and raised in New York City, blocks away from Stern’s campus. After attending Bucknell University and graduating with a B.A. in Economics and Spanish, Ava began her career in the private bank at Merrill Lynch. After four years at Merrill, she made the wise decision to pursue her MBA at NYU Stern, with the ultimate goal of obtaining a career in consulting, concentrating primarily on the retail industry. In her free time, Ava enjoys working out, Sunday brunches, cooking gluten-free and tree-nut free meals and dabbling in jewelry design.

As VP of Finance, Mike will work to manage the club’s budget and finances to ensure the financial health and success of the MCA.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Mike was raised in the suburbs of northern New Jersey. He graduated with a BA in Economics from Boston College in 2009. Prior to Stern, he worked in tax at a hedge fund in midtown Manhattan. At Stern, Mike is pursuing an MBA with specializations in Strategy, Finance, and Business Analytics. Mike is a huge sports fan of New York sports. (Giants, Knicks, Yankees, & Rangers)

Axel Vilas Guozden is from Argentina, and has both a business degree and a Masters in Finance from the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. Prior to Stern, he worked in finance at a renewable energy company in both Brazil and Argentina. He plans to focus his MBA on Strategy and Marketing, and in his free time enjoys exploring NYC.

Native New Yorker with a background in the financial industry. At Stern Andrew plans on specializing in consulting, real estate, and corporate finance. Currently, Andrew specializes in Wealth Management, preparing structured lending initiatives for high net worth individuals.

As VP of Langone, Swarnadeep will be working to manage relationships with key alumni representatives across firms, drive improved student skills capabilities including offline-casing workshops and responsible for planning, executing, and marketing all MCA programming for Langone students.

Deep grew up in India and graduated with a B.Tech in Computer Science. Has significant experience as Program & Project Management Consultant at IBM & CSC and is currently working as a Program Portfolio Manager in Financial Tech industry. Deep plans to specialize in Strategy & Leadership. In his personal time, Deep loves to play soccer, travel and explore food scene in the city.

She has spent the last 7 years in the healthcare industry moving from front-line work to managing operations and supporting strategic initiatives. Francie has an interest in healthcare reform and alternative payment models. At Stern, Francie plans to specialize in Strategy & Leadership and Change Management. Outside of school and work, Francie loves to practice and teach yoga.
